Stick Style Mouldings
Stick style mouldings are a uniquely American style of architecture pioneered by world-famous architect Richard Morris Hunt. Stick style architecture and design heavily feature wood accents both outside and inside the home inspired by the homes of historic German villages and Swiss cottages.
Stick Style Crown Moulding
- Custom Mold [7/8 x 2-1/2]
- Custom Crown [1-3/8 x 4-3/4]
- Custom Mold [7/8 x 2-1/2]
Stick style crown mouldings are more intricate and angular than any other American architectural style. These mouldings are created by patterning rods or “sticks" into these ornate shapes.
Stick Picture Rail Moulding
- Custom Mold [7/8 x 1-1/2]
While not as commonly used, picture rail moulding is a type of crown moulding that is equally stylish and functional. Picture rail moulding is designed to give you a natural place to easily hang pictures and art on the wall without having to constantly change nails or create new holes.

Our stick style casing designs accentuate your home's doors, windows, and passageways with a symmetrical and reeded stick design that provides a cohesive style with the rest of your shingle style home.
Stick Style Baseboard
- Custom Baseboard [13/16 x 9-3/4]
- Custom Shoe [1/2 x 7/8]
Stick style baseboard uses layered wood rods alongside smooth hardwood sections for a baseboard that helps to anchor the style to the floor and complement the crown moulding.
Stick Style Wainscot
- Custom Mold [13/16 x 7-1/4]
- 1/4" Plywood
- Custom Mold [13/16 x 4-1/2]
Stick style wainscotting adds architectural interest and depth to your walls. Wainscotting is extremely popular in formal dining rooms and living rooms because the ornate details evoke a sense of elegance.
Stick Style Trim
Stick style mouldings combine the simplistic rustic nature of wood with intricate linear patterns that often repeat throughout an interior space. These interior features can take center stage in your home's decor and design or play a secondary subdued role in framing the rooms, windows, doors, and passageways of your home.
