Fluted and reeded trim offers a symmetrical profile that complements rosette and plinth blocks around doors and windows. Known for their clean and equally proportional appearance, fluted moldings derive their name from the flutes, or grooves, that run the length of their profile. Reeded moldings simply feature milling that is inverse to fluted profiles, giving the appearance of “ribs” rather than grooves.
