Shipping
Most orders with items 96 inches (8 feet) or shorter will ship via Ground Carrier (FedEx or UPS). These shipments are delivered by courier and placed at the front door or other accessible entry points at the specified address.
For items longer than 96 inches (8 feet), Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight shipping is required. While we can ship lengths greater than 8 feet, please note that shipping costs increase significantly with length—especially for small quantity orders. To keep shipping costs manageable, we recommend selecting 8-foot lengths or shorter when possible.
Orders with items 97 inches or more will ship via LTL. The carrier will call ahead to schedule a delivery time. Unless curbside or white glove delivery is arranged, the customer is responsible for unloading the shipment and inspecting all products before accepting delivery.
Note: Items over 12 feet are considered extreme overlength and will incur additional accessorial fees added to the total shipping cost.
Local Deliveries
All locally delivered orders will be unloaded and placed in the garage of new construction sites. If the garage is accessible from the driveway, no one is required to be present at the time of delivery. However, if there is no accessible path to the garage, someone must be available to assist in carrying the materials from the street. Please note: our delivery drivers are not permitted to carry materials into the home.
Any errors, damages, or shortages must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. All claims must be submitted within 5 business days. For returns, materials must be placed in the garage prior to the scheduled pick-up date.
Returns
All non-stock and custom orders are non-returnable. In-stock products may be returned within 90 days of the purchase date, provided they are accompanied by a copy of the receipt and have received prior approval from Mouldings One.
Returned items must be in original, unused condition. Products that are damaged, soiled, cut, or altered in any way are not eligible for return.
Defective items must be reported and returned within 10 days of delivery. A 20% restocking fee applies to all approved returns.
Damage During Shipment
We take great care in preparing your order for shipment. In the unlikely event that your product is visibly damaged upon delivery, please ensure the delivery driver notes the damage on the proof of delivery receipt before you sign.
If the damage renders the product unusable, refuse the shipment. We will promptly produce a replacement order and ship it to you at no additional cost.
If concealed damage is discovered after delivery and the product is deemed unacceptable, please notify Mouldings One within one business day. Any defective items will be replaced promptly, and shipping will be covered by us.
