1300 MOSS STREET, NEW ORLEANS, ORLEANS PARISH, LOUISIANA
The initial construction is said to be in 1784, but it’s possible it was built as early as the mid 1700s. The reason for the name is due to the house being used as a customs home for Spanish guards. This house has a small prison within its quarters, which was guarded by the Spanish authorities.
