Built in 1742. Ebenezer Gay, a recent Harvard graduate, was hired directly out of college as a minister of the Congregational Church and would live at “The Old Manse” his entire life. After Ebenezer Gay died in 1796, his son would succeed him until his own death in 1837. A total of 95 years between father and son. It is one of the earliest gambrel-roofed houses in the New England area.
