David is a teacher and advisor to Mouldings One and many residential and commercial clients across the country. He has a keen eye for details and has a great appreciation of classical architecture. It is his belief that good designs can be an effective way to solve problems and improve the quality of life. David’s knowledge of mouldings, their shapes and designs has been a great asset to Mouldings One. We thank David for his assistance and dedication.
David began his private practice in 1998, opening The D.H. Ellison Company, a small architectural design firm based in Cleveland, Ohio. The firm has been engaged in a wide range of projects, involving architectural design, interior environmental improvement, energy conservation, historic preservation, renovations, and restoration.
David is a registered and licensed architect in Ohio and New York and is a member of the AIA, the American Institute of Architects, and maintains a council record with NCARB, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is a former President and Co-Founder of the Ohio and Lake Erie Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art. He is a member of the Historic District Subcommittee of the Gates Mills Architectural Review Board. David studied architecture and received his professional degree from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City.
